On the morning of June 9, AIDE was invited to participate in the State Guarantee Seminar on the 2022-23 New Deal Plan held by the Tasmanian government! Come with Xiao Ai to learn more about it!

Current quota usage

As of June 2022, the current Tasmanian state guarantee quota usage is as follows:

190 State Guarantee Quota: The total quota is 1,100, and a total of 1,027 have been used so far, an increase of 68 from the previous month. There are only 73 places left, and about 400 applications have not been processed.

491 State Guarantee Quota: The total quota is 2,200, and a total of 2,008 have been used so far, an increase of 339 from the previous month. At present, there are only nearly 200 places left, and about 350 applications have not been processed.

There are about 750 unprocessed applications in total, and the quota for this fiscal year is running out. The most recent 190 cases have been processed until December 2021, and the 491 cases have been processed until March 2022. Now the state government is expediting the processing of the existing 491 applications, and the 190 speed is very slow. At present, the Tasmanian guarantee application channel has been closed. The Tasmanian state government has applied to the Immigration Bureau for the same immigration quota as this fiscal year. The Immigration Bureau has not confirmed the specific results, and will be announced as soon as mid-July.

2022-23 New Plan

At present, the Tasmanian state government is collecting feedback from multiple parties, analyzing and sorting out, to revise and formulate a new state guarantee policy for the 2022-23 new fiscal year. It is still in final discussions, and a decision could not be made at today's meeting.

Due to the high demand, the annual quota is very limited. Tasmania will maintain flexible application requirements, using priority levels to select the most competitive applicants. Here are some examples:

Vision to settle in Tasmania through employment is key

Whether the field of study is relevant to the skills required in Tasmania

Employment experience in Tasmania (especially key area skills)

length of stay

It is the end of the fiscal year, and the guarantee policies of various states will change at any time. If you have any questions about immigration, please contact AIDE.
